Our primary goal is to be the "go to" Quality Assurance & Software Testing company in East and West Africa while developing offshore resources to fill test automation positions (and other hard to find software testing capabilities) in the North America and European markets.

Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• The Business intelligence Analyst is responsible for managing data retrieval and analysis.
• They will also be involved in organizing data points, communicating between upper management and the IT department, and analyzing data to determine CMB’s needs

Job Description

• Develop and manage business intelligence solutions for the organization
• Provide reports through office applications to improve business processes
• Collaborate with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company’s mission
• Analyse business requirements and processes and recommending them to the management and executives for implementation
• Create and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals for CMB
• Identify the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the bank for efficiency and profitability
• Review and validate customer data as it’s collected
• Oversee the deployment of data to the data warehouse
• Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data
• Create or discover new data procurement and processing programs
• Cooperate with IT department to deploy software and hardware upgrades that make it possible to leverage big data use cases
• Monitor analytics and metrics results
• Review customer files to ensure integrity of data collection and utilization

Education and Experience

• B.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Mining, Computer Science, Economics, or related field preferred but not required
• 4+ years in data analytics roles, including strong experience doing analysis using excel and querying using SQL
• Preferred additional skills include R, Python, DAX, and/or PowerBI or other data visualization tools (eg. Tableau)
• Excellent communication skills, discussing and describing the data-related analysis and ability to work across functions and geographies
