About the Job

• We are seeking a Senior Enterprise / Solution Architect to join our organisation as we grow and transform our Technology landscape.
• Individual will complete advanced software end to end engineering tasks that span many parts of a system including designing, developing, analyzing, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documenting, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing based on user or system specifications.
• Individual will also consult with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications, manage the effective use of resources, act as subject matter expert across multiple applications, systems and technologies, leverage technical and business knowledge to drive the planning and execution of complex initiatives, participate in the design/ development process, and provide technical leadership.

What You'll Do

• Be responsible for defining software and solution packages that solve the needs of our clients
• Be part of our amazing technology organization within Expedia Group where you will learn and grow as a key contributor to our engineering teams
• Play a critical role in working closely with Expedia technology organization as well as top travel industry client partners
• You will work with clients, sales, and incubation teams to gain a clear understanding of the overall business goals and objectives of our clients
• You will understand any opportunities or gaps in the technology supporting their business and build solutions that address this
• Leveraging the technology and capabilities within Expedia’s Travel Platform, you will map out the necessary components to design an overall package of solutions
• In selecting the right technology to address partner needs, you will also incorporate a number of technology architectural and operational considerations in the overall design and approach for the solution; including consideration for security, resiliency, and integration standard methodologies while incorporating partner and internal system requirements
• You are the primary interface working directly with the client and their technical team
• The Solution Architect plays a key role in selecting the right technology components for adoption, addressing the business needs of clients, and ensuring a positive outcome for our travel ecosystem

Required Qualification / Education

• A completed Bachelor's Degree in IT, or an Associate's Degree in Computer Programming, or equivalent education in a related discipline is preferred.
