Job Title: Assistant Manager, Key Account (Cosmetics)

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • The Assistant Manager Key Account (AMKA) is over all in charge of the management of the Cosmetic line in the National Key Accounts segment and will be based in Lagos, Nigeria.
  • Other functions are collaborating with Regional counterparts, Trade Marketing, and Marketing Team in developing Business Building Programs align with the Cosmetic Brand Strategy.

Job Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager Key Account is responsible in the achievement of the following;

  • Developing the Business Strategies and specific action plans, consistent with the company’s overall Sales and Marketing Strategies for the Cosmetic line.
  • Achieving Monthly Sales Target and AR Collection.
  • Preparing analysis of Sales Trend to determine gaps and opportunities to further grow the Key Accounts being managed.
  • Ensuring the Competitive Pricing Report (CPR) is updated weekly
  • Preparation and implementation of Business Building Programs which includes:
    • Account initiated promotions,
    • Sales initiated promotions and
    • Marketing initiated promotions
  • Reviewing the P&L per account in order to ensure that budget spending does not exceed desired cost to sales ratio.
  • Managing relationship with Buyers and other stakeholders of the Key Accounts.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Team managing the Regional Branches of Key Accounts in terms of promotional activation, new product listing, merchandising, display, & pricing guidelines, and agreement with Head Buyers.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of four (4) year course preferably Business Course preferably with Master’s Degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years experiences in the FMCG Sales Operation in the Modern Trade Channel as KAM in the Cosmetic range.
  • Experience in handling top brand cosmetic range is a must
  • Excellent Sales Presentation and Advanced Negotiation Skills
  • Knowledgeable on various MS Office application software
  • Proficient in English language, both in oral and written
  • Considerable knowledge in Basic Finance (cost analysis and promo spend analysis)
  • Good level of decision-making skills
  • Possesses keen awareness and sensitivity of market changes
  • Must demonstrate Core Behaviors
