Location: Apapa Ports, Lagos

Job Description

• We are currently searching for a mid-level and experienced Software Developer to join our client's team.
• The successful candidate will have experience in multiple programming languages and the use of technology to solve business problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• You will develop and/or implement new applications, enhancements, and interfaces to support business and project needs. 

Job Description
A day on the job looks like this:

• Coding and testing effective, stable, and scalable solutions to address end-user needs
• Converting user requirements into effective and user-friendly system design to meet business objectives
• Build, update, and complete test scripts and log results. 
• Run, debug, and update existing test automation. 
• Conduct compatibility tests with other software programs, hardware, operating systems, and network environments. 
• Perform initial triage and root-cause-analysis. 
• Work with multiple development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. 

Qualifications

• Must have at least Bachelor’s Degree (2:1 or above) or HND (Upper Credit) in Computer Science, Computer Software / Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering and Information Systems.
• Should have at least 3 years relevant experience in Software development and a strong set of programming skills.
• Must be below 35 years.

Required Knowledge:

• ASP.NET in vb.NET WCF language
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript / JQuery
• XML, JSON
• Excellent knowledge of SQL Server queries and T-SQL programming
• Quick troubleshooting abilities
• The document application process for future maintenance and upgrades

Other Preferences:

• Web services.net knowledge
•  Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (client-side)
• The ideal candidate will have outstanding problem-solving skills and be adept at quickly learning new systems and technologies.
