Job Summary

• We require a Finance Manager to supervise, track and evaluateday-to-day activities.
• FinanceManager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting,analyzing, verifying and reporting information.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of records and document retention
• Monthly bank reconciliation
• Monthly bookkeeping
• Preparation and maintenance of investment schedules.
• Review of investment contracts to ensure that revenue is recognized when a performance obligation is satisfied.
• Drafting of monthly/quarterly management accounts and presentation of reports
• Identification and analysis of accounting issues
• Preparations of and consolidation of Annual Budgets
• Preparation of forecast
• Preparation and maintenance of general ledgers and sub-ledgers
• Preparation of IFRS financial statements
• Attending to Internal and External Auditors’ queries
• Fixed assets verification.
• Development of accounting policies in compliance with the requirements of nternational Financial Reporting Standards.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing accounting information
• Preparing accounts and tax returns.
• Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure.
• Negotiating the terms of business deals and moves with clients and associated organisations.
• Ensure company financial accounts, such as credit cards, are paid on time
• Perform internal audits on financial activities as necessary
• Review both incoming and outgoing invoices

• Plan, implement and supervise the company’s financial strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3 - 6 years work experience.
• Experience in Management, Accounting, or a related field may be preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
• Exceptional math skills.
• Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Office.
• High level of efficiency and accuracy.
• Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations.
• Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.

Salary
N200,000 - N400,000 / month.
