Kakanfo Inn and Conference Centre - Featuring a restaurant and a fitness centre, Kakanfo Inn and Conference Centre is located in Ibadan, Oyo State. Among the various facilities of this property are a bar, a garden and a terrace. IITA Forest Reserve is 8 miles from the hotel. All guest rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Responsibilities

• Hotel Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of our hotel facilities.
• Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.
• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
• Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
• Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
• Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
• Create and implement maintenance procedures.
• Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
• Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
• Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.

Requirements

• B.Sc in Engineering or facility management and any professional certification is an added advantage.
• 3 - 5 years experience in maintenance
• Previous managerial experience with a proven track record in similar roles is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
