Job Brief

• Our client is urgently seeking to hire a Heavy-Duty Mechanic/Technician who is experienced in heavy machinery equipment handling.

Role Responsibilities

• Inspect trucks, cranes, earthwork equipment and other heavy equipment for proper performance.
• Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment.
• Experience in Heavy Machinery Equipment such as, but not limited to: Excavators, Bulldozers, Graders, Compactors (preferably familiar with CAT made equipments).
• Adjusting equipments and replacing faulty parts.
• Repair damaged equipment parts, lubricate, and conduct routine services for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Perform major repair works when necessary.
• Report damaged or faulty equipments to management.
• Showcase ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.
• Showcase ability to read manuals and schematics, rebuild engines and major driveline components and communicate with other mechanics about repair work needed.
• Demonstrate skill in the use of a variety of hand tools, use of gas and electric welding equipment, use of mechanized tools, jacks, and hoists.
• Demonstrate skill in the use of a variety of diagnostic testing and tuning equipments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (minimum) and certification as a heavy-duty equipment mechanic.
• 8+ experience in Heavy equipment machinery related to Construction Industry and familiar with both hydraulic and diesel driven engines.
• Core Skill: Heavy-duty equipment mechanical management.
