Job Title: Female Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos Mainland
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary of Responsibilities

  • To ensure that revenue goals and profit targets/budget set by the company for the business team are met on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis through managing existing clients, generating new businesses, and introducing new clients to the services rendered within the organization.
  • To continually develop and follow new leads, arrange business meetings with prospective clients, conduct and execute professional sales pitches with a bid to win more clients to the organization.
  • To conduct research and market feasibility with a view to discovering new opportunities where the company can render its service offerings.
  • To prepare contracts for clients where necessary in line with the policies and guidelines of the establishment and as directed by your supervisor.
  • To develop a growth strategy to increase the market share and wallet size of the various client(s) segments within the portfolio of the organization.
  • To build and maintain top-notch relationship management with all clients of the organization.
  • To prepare various reports as directed by your supervisor to facilitate proper monitoring and tracking of the business unit’s performance.
  • To lead and supervise team members to achieve their set goals and targets whilst also training them into becoming leaders within the organization.
  • To conduct comprehensive appraisals for team members for the periods under review, in order that performance is rewarded while inherent gaps for knowledge and skills-sets are identified and appropriate training/recommendations made to correct any anomalies.
  • To handle any ad-hoc task(s), projects, and or responsibilities, as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of cognate commercial business development/partnerships experience.
  • Minimum Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Ability to build rapport and engagement with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Effective partnering skills to build consensus; proven ability to influence peers/stakeholders across multiple groups.
  • Candidates should not be more than 40 years old.
