In almost a year, we've introduced a steady cadence of innovations, such as statement pages, a no-code tool to retrieve bank statements, and much more. We've connected to 10% of all active bank accounts in Nigeria, and our investors include YCombinator, Entree Capital, and others.

Description

• We are looking for a skilled Web Experience Developer who will be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website according to required specifications.
• You will be responsible for the appearance of the Mono website and it's technical aspects such as the site speed, how it interacts with users and how much traffic the site can handle.
• The ideal candidate understands user experience and function and is a talented artist with an extensive technical expertise to work alongside a team and independently in the creation, maintenance, and updates of our website.

Responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors
• Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent.

Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:

• 2+ years relevant experience as a frontend engineer, or full stack role with a frontend focus.
• Experience working with popular client-side technologies (JS / React / Preact).
• A knack for creating smooth, performant animations using Gsap or Framer motion.
• Experience writing semantic HTML and CSS.
• An ability to code UIs to a very high calibre, responsively and with good cross-browser compatibility.

• Have strong attention to detail - Replicate Figma designs and work closely with UI designers
