Job Title: Credit Control Officer

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Summary

• Our Credit Control Officers conducts credit checks on new customers, resolves problems in relation to payments, and reconciles complex month-end accounts.
• They are also to report outstanding issues to management, whilst highlighting potential risks.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention.
• Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO.
• Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team.
• Responding to client inquiries.
• Evaluating new credit requests and conducting client credit application checks.
• Setting and following up with clients on the terms and conditions of a loan.
• Post and allocate daily receipts to accounting systems.
• Provide account information to internal departments.

Requirements
Applicants:

• Must be recent B.Sc. / HND graduates or NYSC members who reside in Lekki phase 1 or its environs.
• Must have excellent use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must display excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Must have strong problem-solving abilities.
• Must be able to quickly grasp and understand the use of new software systems.
• Must display confidence, to deal with a range of stakeholders.
• Must display excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
