It is a non-profit organization with a mandate of making the lives of vulnerable people better, those affected by disaster or crisis. GPON is presently operating in the Northeastern regional part of Nigeria where we have reached over 100,000 lives with relief materials, child protection services. GBV mitigation services, livelihood skill-building, health services, and Education support services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Jingler (Sound Producer)

Location: Borno

Summary

• Under the Supervision of the Project Coordinator, the  Jingler will use creative skills to create project focus and child-friendly audio key messages and animations & provide creative input and ideas for GOALPrime content and development

Major Responsibilities

• Read scripts and storylines to understand sounds requirements
• Preside as the main director over musical programs and oversee production.
• Plan and produce child-friendly and culturally appropriate audio key messages.
• Coordinate fundraising efforts.
• Devise budgets and plan communications.
• Transcribe musical compositions.
• Direct the recording of performances for later review or distribution.
• Help children Plan and schedule rehearsals.
• Coordinate and organize camp tours.
• Assisting and playing a key role in the production of capacity-building communication materials like toolkits, publications, documentaries, and IEC materials.
• Supporting in the organization of all Advocacy campaigns, sensitizations, and outreaches.
• Assist in organizing the celebration of international days and campaigns in all project locations.
• Playing a key role in the effective dissemination of information across all boards to ensure effective actualization of the organization's goals.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Key Contacts / working relationships:
Internal:

• Reports to the Project Coordinator

External:

• Regular and open communication with GOALPrime staff from all departments and field offices.
• Donor Engagement and Fundraising.
• Ensure that funds for continuity and scale-up of Programmes/operations are secured at most 6 months into this contract.
• Strong conceptual and artistic skills.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Sc / Higher National Diploma Degree in Fine Arts with 1 - 2 years of working experience in any related field.
• Prior work experience as a studio manager and sound producer.
