Job Title: Male Account Assistant

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills

Job Description

• You are expected to assist the accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits or fact-checking, and bank runs.
• You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills.
• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
• Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
• Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, bank runs, etc.
• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• HND / Degree in related fields with work experience.
• At least 3 years relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills, photocopying, scanning, filing.
• Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
• Professional manner and strong ethical code.
• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
• You should have an understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel (A must at the intermediate level) or QuickBooks.
• You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.

Salary

• Open to Negotiation.
