Job Description

• Kudi is on a mission of providing financial services to millions of underbanked Africans. Kudi provides over $3 billion in financial services to over 25 million Nigerians each year. With all the data that underpin how these transactions successfully go through,  the Data team is looking for a talented Data  Engineer. 
• The Data Engineer will be in charge of maintaining our data warehouse;    helping us manage business-critical data leveraged across the entire organization.
• The Data Engineer will be responsible for building pipelines to move batch and streaming data from our transactional systems (SQL and NoSQL) to the data warehouse.  
• You’ll be working with a variety of cross-functional teams to help them solve their data needs.
• Your work will provide teams with visibility into how  Kudi’s products & services are being used and how we can better serve our customers.

About the Role

• Building pipelines to move data from transactional systems to analytical systems.
• Ensuring data pipelines stay up, and fixing any breakages.
• Transforming data to answer business questions.
• Interfacing with data analysts to help them make sense of data.
• Documenting data models.

About You

• At least two (2) years of experience.
• Good knowledge of DBT, Apache AirFlow/ Google Cloud Composer, and Python.
• Foundational knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform.
• Good understanding of data pipelines (batch and streaming).
• Foundational knowledge of cloud functions.

Compensation
$1,500 - $3,000 monthly (Gross)
