Job Description

• This job is responsible for gathering, organizing, analyzing, and presenting data derived from business operations in order to extract business insights that will lead to a better knowledge of business activities and serve as the foundation for managerial decision-making.

As the Data Analytics Manager, you will:

• Deploy data modelling techniques to diagnose Identify problems within a business, through the use of data modelling techniques
• Evaluates business processes and extracts data for anticipating business/departmental requirements, uncovers areas for improvement
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develops optimization strategies.
• Generate business, departmental, and product performance results based on agreed target for the business
• Work closely with other teams to identify important questions, define key success metrics, and shape data-informed business decisions.
• Lead hands-on, detailed data research and analysis of SKLD business data; investigate, troubleshoot, and solve data quality issues.
• Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
• Own the development, maintenance, and delivery of the BI pipeline, turning raw data into captivating and compelling dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc
• Develops and executes tools to monitor and report on data quality
• Provides expertise and translate the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization
• Conducts quantitative analysis of complex business situations, such as strategies, performance, and solutions involving sales and customer performance.
• Perform various data analytics in SQL and MS Excel using statistical models
• Provide relational database expertise to construct and execute SQL queries to be used in data analysis activities
• Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget, and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
• Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of an HND / Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline.
• An MBA or Master’s Degree in any data science-related discipline is an added advantage
• 3 - 5 years in a similar role.
• Technical expertise in Data Models & Data Mining
• Advanced analysis skills
• Expertise in programming languages such as SQL, Oracle, and Python
• Understanding of reporting & data visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Business Objects, PowerBI, and Tableau;
• Experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc).

Salary

• N250,000 Monthly.
