Description

• Our client is looking for a Creative Graphic Design Team Lead to join our growing marketing team.
• This is an exciting opportunity to help our client build its brand and support various marketing initiatives and customers campaigns.
• The candidate must have an eye for aesthetically pleasing color schemes, fonts, and shapes that enable professional logos, product packaging, and layouts. Must be able to use multiple software programs to design. Must be open to criticism in a constructive way to elevate designs and improve skills.
• The candidate must constantly create graphics to capture the attention of key audiences and communicate the right message. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.
• Work location is provided at our client’s Victoria Island business office, with the opportunity to work from home a few days per week.

Job Description

• Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints.
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
• Initiate great work from hand sketches to finished product.
• Develop and complete content design for multiple projects.
• Work alongside copy/content writers and creative director to produce final design.
• Test graphics across various media.
• Amend designs after feedback.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Create Brand Visual guidelines for internal and external clients.
• Participate in meetings with marketing and advertising personnel to discuss new project needs.

Requirements and Skills

• Degree or qualification in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus.
• Proven graphic designing experience.
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
• Familiarity with design software and day-to-day Digital technologies (such as MS Applications, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• Practical, Virtual and Production skills.
