Afrosport Media Network, a 24-hour network broadcasting sports channel, is recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Presenter

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• News/show anchoring
• Host regularly scheduled sport news, oriented interviews and programs and participate in live, online events and special appearances
• Report news for internal and external daily air shift, producing written stories, spots and features for sport news and public affairs programming as needed
• Compose and edit sport news stories
• Well groomed, plus understanding of News Editorial, Content and Current Affairs.
• Meet with the producer, reporters and other anchors to be briefed on the day’s news
• Interview guests and other members involved in particular stories
• Keep abreast of news developments and stay in contact with industry professionals

Qualifications/ Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Communication / Journalism/ Public Relations or any other relevant field.
• A Minimum of four years’ experience in sports television journalism
• Screen presence and on-air charisma.
• Ability to handle live situations.
• Good knowledge of current affairs, business or politics.
• Good Appearance
• Active social media presence
• Excellent oral articulation
• Organizational skills.
