We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Company Driver

Location: Lugbe, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip and Opting fora shorter or alternate route in case of traffic congestion.
• Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all staff members
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
• Transporting staff membersto the destination point
• Conducting timely vehicle maintenance checks and Scheduling vehicle service appointments
• Informing the company of any accidents or vehicle damage
• Ensuring the safety of staff membersduring work time
• Identifying any mechanical issues in the vehicle
• Maintaining a record of vehicle maintenance receipts

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 2 - 10 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a Driver in driving manual and automatic gear
• A valid driver’s license and A clean driving record
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devicesand Google Maps
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts and Ability to work for long hours
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• Previous work experience as a Driveror a Delivery Driver in the Logistics industry
• Complete knowledge of road safety rules and regulations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent driving skills and road sense
• Well-groomed and highly motivated individual
• Good time management skills
• Ability to offer excellent customer service.
