Job Title: SAP Cutover Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The SAP Cutover Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth go live of the SAP Deployment at our client.
• In their remit will be ownership of the change management, data cutover, finance and procurement cutover, manufacturing & logistics cutover & go-live plan and the execution of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of a wide team of points of contact across client locations including factories, warehouses & project resources
• Monitor data, cutover activities and progress and communicate to senior leadership team including status, progress, issues, etc.
• Input into Quality Gate reviews for all data and cutover related activity
• Provide Business Unit engagement and communications strategy.
• Look for opportunities to design innovative solutions to meet user needs and service demands
• Plan, prepare and ensure execution of the pre-cutover, cutover and post-cutover tasks
• Definition, Ownership and Governance of Finance, Procurement and Supply cutover plan
• Liaison with all other members of the project plan to ensure alignment
• Work with teams and leadership to develop plans to support labor requirements for training and cutover needs
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of relevant issues, insights, practices and opportunities to identify and make recommendations for opportunities
• Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the project and project deliverables are met
• Lead and connect all parties involved in the cutover activities including business managers, project managers and project team/s, to ensure the creation of integrated solutions and plans meet organizational change management guidelines and priorities
• Ensure post cutover that system is working properly and track any issues through to resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 10+ years of experience and at least 5 cycles of SAP Implementations
• Prior experience leading projects and at least 2 cycles as SAP cutover manager
• Demonstrable experience with migrations of data in complex, global, release-deployed systems implementations
• Ability to define and execute multiple detailed activity plans simultaneously, maintaining an ability to articulate progress and status clearly to key stakeholders
• Natural ability to coordinate and facilitate diverse teams of different skill sets, backgrounds and locations
• Good understanding of key SAP functional process streams as well as Project Management skills
• Solid understanding of the SAP Data Model and most commonly used Master- and Transactional Data elements
• Ability to conduct and facilitate workshops with business representatives, management and executive, team member resources, and external 3rd party groups
• Problem solving skills that use techniques to identify the root cause of the issue and then ability to clearly communicate (verbal/orally) this position.
• Advanced communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide advice, consult and negotiate with senior management and manage key relationships.
