We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technology Consultant

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Organizes and delivers work efforts and client-facing project activities.
• Provides advisory work to clients’ information technology function.
• Delivers innovative and differentiated technology offerings, staying relevant and in sync with market demand.
• Supervises people, processes and technology workstreams to deliver client-relevant services in the Technology Advisory area.
• Sets and manages expectations of Client Sponsors /Champions and Stakeholders on delivery efforts.
• Works closely with Verraki Technology Leadership to:
  • Build a team of credible Consultants and Analysts within the technology Advisory practice
  • Engage key clients to identify, qualify and convert technology sales opportunities
  • Build Verraki credibility and brand in the technology Advisory services industry.
• Perform other related tasks assigned by Verraki Technology Lead

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
• Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
• Relevant technical/ professional certifications.
• Membership of professional organizations/ associations will be an added advantage.
• 8 to 12 years post qualification relevant experience in IT.
• Previous experience in a reputable consulting, leading IT company or IT function of a blue-chip company.
• Demonstrable achievements in landmark projects.
• Experience within our target industries.
• Experience in managing teams and directing quality work efforts.
• Senior Management presence.
• Relationship network within our target industries.
• Relationship network with our key alliance partners.

Skills / Competence Requirements:

• Strong expertise in more than one of Technology Strategy and Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure Consulting, IT Service Management, Project/Program Management.
• Good understanding of NEW IT such as cloud and digital technologies
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong Issue management skills
• Strong client relationship management
• Good negotiation skills
• Strong project management and leadership skills
