Job Overview

• A CNC technician, also called a computer numerically controlled operator, is a machinist and programmer who uses computer-driven machines and tools to make precision components for aerospace, computer, medical, and recreational equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints and schematics
• Making precise measurements
• Programming and operating CNC machines
• Using CAD/CAM software, and selecting the best tools and techniques for specific materials.

Qualifications

• A Diploma or certificate in Machine tool technology
• Strong math and computer skills
• Experience with manual labor
• Teamwork/Team player.
