Work You'll Do

• Be a part of multidisciplinary and diverse team in a client facing role. Managing delivery, tuning, configuration, optimization, and performance of workloads and services that run in a multi and hybrid cloud environment.
• Establishing a secure cloud environment, ensuring service availability, compliance, and meeting service level agreements.

Responsibilities

• Supporting applications on GCP, Azure and/or AWS infrastructure.
• Technical and analytical troubleshooting with experience working in a technical operations/support role.
• Develop cloud architecture and solutions optimized for cloud platforms.
• Deployment and management of distributed/microservices architecture and event-driven architecture.
• Build and deploy applications at scale on Cloud platforms.
• Optimize cloud services platform.
• Monitor and maintain multiple GCP, Azure and/or AWS solutions to meet client requirements
• Engage with a continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline on GCP or Azure.
• Manage SQL and NoSQL databases
• Develop infrastructure-as-code scripts IaC to automate the deployment of GCP or Azure architecture and solutions.
• Integrate with non-cloud technologies and third-party vendor products/services.
• Plan and develop support processes that adhere to ITIL best practices.
• Communicate effectively through strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc., B.A., B.Eng./B.Tech., etc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Science, Technology, Engineering, or any related discipline with a minimum of Second Class Upper / Upper Credit division
• 5 + years of experience in cloud operations
• 3+ years of experience with any cloud platform: GCP or Azure or AWS.
• Have a minimum of five credits in WASSCE Ordinary Level/NECO subjects or acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, PowerShell, Ruby.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking protocols, e.g., HTTP, REST APIs
• Certifications (Desired): Google-Associate Cloud Engineer; Google Professional Cloud Architect; AWS - Solutions Architect Associate; AWS - Solutions Architect Professional; Azure-Administrator Associate; Azure – MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (Infrastructure Focus); VMware – VCAP/VCDX Data Center Virtualization.
