The Role:

The Marketing Manager position is responsible for executing and managing all Ticketandseat promotional activities and marketing efforts for the whole Nigeria market.​ The Marketing Manager will manage all internal marketing and promotions and must have an understanding of entertainment industry functions and objectives.​ The Manager will manage, mentor and motivate a team of marketing professionals with a strong focus on employee development and performance management.​ In addition, forecast your team’s ticket/​revenue contribution to the company’s annual business plan by using client level business plans (including account strategy, profitability analysis, and program projections) developed by your team members.​

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement marketing/​promotional plans with clients and marketing partners to increase ticket sales through Ticketandseat’s distribution channels internet, phone and ticket centre locations.​
- Heavy emphasis is placed on increasing internet and ticket center sales through integrated marketing and promotional programs.​
- Implement marketing support for Ticketandseat products.​
- Support sales efforts of Ticketandseat products and services and
- Consult clients on how to effectively use Ticketandseat marketing products and programs.​
- Secure local media and business partnerships.​
- Assist in the negotiation, preparation and execution of contracts.​
- Assist in preparation of proposals and sales presentations.​
- Maintain and nurture client relationships including venues, promoters and local media partners.​
- Advertising duties will include ensuring that the Ticketandseat brand is properly represented in all client and promotional partners’ advertisements.​
- Manage sponsorship agreements including execution of advertising elements and tracking.​

Profile of the candidates

- BA/​BS degree in related area
- Six to ten years of promotions/​marketing experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication is necessary
- Presentation skills are essential.​
- Strategic thinking
- Creativity and strong attention to detail required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word/​Excel/​Power Point for Windows and the Internet required.​
- You must have: available list of contacts ready to be tapped
- Must be able to hit the ground running from day one
- Your list of contacts must be persons presently working in the industry
- Your list of contacts must be able to yield contract in the first week

- Must be prepare to work weekends when required
