Job Purpose

• As the Head of Marketing, you will take Adeeva Insurance marketing experience to the next level by serving as the point person for developing, creating, and implementing online and offline marketing campaigns that support our public relations, insurance sales representatives, and team members, and reach our customers who are seeking ways to safeguard against the risks of everyday life.

Job Duties

• Map out the development of business/sales strategy plans  Generate leads, meet with clients, complete a financial needs analysis, and present them with customized financial proposals.
• You should thereafter discuss and market insurance options that suit their needs  Work with Technical Department to assess clients' financial portfolios and analyzing clients' risks Stay up to date with the latest products and their benefits and inform clients of these offerings, offer specialized guidance and advice on areas of concern that would empower people to live better lives.
• Conducting customer and market research and identifying the position of the company’s brand in the target market  Ensures that the assigned target is achieved during the period/year  Regularly source for new customers to further deepen the company customer base
• Organize and participate in sales activations events to boost brand awareness and increase sales  Advise the management regularly on industry trends in terms of risk inclination and pricing
• Ensures documentation and KYC processes are in line with the company policy
• Core Service Team Functions - Business Developement  Build networks with key and relevant organizations to create a positive identification with the company brand
• Develop appropriate marketing campaigns for the company’s products  Ensure customers and clients are satisfied with service delivery by serving them excellently
• Ensure customers receivables/payments are monitored and collected promptly
• Work with Technical and Finance departments to ensure seamless flow of work
• Responsible for BID/EOI responses end-to-end whilst working with other Departments

Person Specification & Additional Requirements

• A University Degree is relevant while Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications, Advertising, or other related field is required
• 10 years experience in a similar capacity
• Membership of necessary insurance professional bodies e.g. CIIN is an added advantage
• Wide knowledge of the insurance industry.
• Must be computer proficient 
• Ability to lead a team and use sound judgment
