Job Description

• Our client is recruiting a Site Inspection Officer/Manager to ensure that all property and related finances are optimally managed
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting the properties thoroughly and determining the maintenance needs by performing inspections and checks on the properties.
• The candidate will also be responsible for Agreement negotiation, Supplies purchase, properties evaluation, and compliance with construction regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Real Estate facilities and maintenance
• Determine rental income and negotiate lease agreements
• Advise clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters
• Manage the purchase, sale, rental, or development of properties
• Perform inspections as per the compliance requirements
• Scout and identify potential clients with property management needs
• Prepare and present business proposals to clients, highlighting their ability and prior experience in property/estate management
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors in accordance with the management team
• Update the client and stakeholders with inspection programs
• Accompany buyers during visits and inspections of the property, advising them on the suitability and value of the homes they are visiting
• Authorize maintenance, repair, equipment, and supply expenditure
• Monitor performance of contractors to ensure efficient performances of duties
• Investigate and resolve complaints from residents and talents when services are not properly provided
• Ensure estate operations are in line with government policies and housing regulations.
• Proffer recommendations/advice to owners on rental rate and maintenance estimates.

Person Specification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Project Management or any other related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing property purchases, sales, rentals or a similar role
• Ability to negotiate contracts and determine rental rates
• Customer service and relationship management skills.
