We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior PLSQL Developer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

• The ideal candidate should have good development skills in PL/SQL, UNIX, C#, ASP.Net, IFS solutions and a basic finance foundation.
• He/she would have experience working in an Enterprise environment and be comfortable configuring, developing, and implementing at least one ERP solution.
• The candidate must have intermediate technical/hands-on experience implementing ERP solutions on UNIX, Linux, or Windows platforms such as IFS.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support existing ERP environment, providing operational support (2nd and 3rd level support) to business users.
• Respond to trouble tickets and provide root cause analysis as well as problem resolution within SLA.
• Work alongside the existing development team to build/configure amazing solutions and software for clients.
• Gain significant experience in development, Configuration, Implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or e-business suite solutions.
• Other duties include assisting with an ERP migration and general daily and monthly tasks.
• Ensure upgrades are thoroughly planned, documented, and implemented.
• Run standard routines as per procedures.

Requirements
We are looking for candidates with intermediate knowledge of PLSQL, in particular to:

• Tertiary education graduate of a Science or Engineering course.
• 2 years of experience working on either Oracle or MS Server database environment
• Experience supporting Enterprise applications e.g. CRM, ERP, Point of Sales applications, etc.
• Practical experience building solutions with either PL/SQL or MS SQL
• Practical experience building applications using either C# or Java
• Practical experience working with technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, HTML5.
• Practical experience working with XML or JSON for web service development.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience maintaining various Operating systems environments including Windows, Linux and Unix
• Experience with multi-lingual and multi-currency solutions is a big advantage.
• Experience maintaining, and supporting application development, testing, and production environments.
• Experience and desire to work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
• Procurement, inventory, and financial management systems.
• Vast knowledge and experience of backend oracle database table queries and updates, and report creation.

Do you have?

• Advance-level skills in web development and scripting tools
• Good knowledge of operating systems and enterprise software configuration
• Modern web technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Good knowledge and understanding of web service APIs, server-side coding,
• Good experience maintaining and supporting dev. and prod. environments
• Experience and desire to work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment

Desired Skills:

• Vast experience in configuring, implementing and management of ERP systems
• Good experience with data integration tools and extract transformation and load (ETL) tools
• Knowledge of industry-leading Analytics, Business Intelligence, Customer Intelligence and data management tools
• Familiar with automated testing, code quality tools, and continuous integration
• Experience with an Agile or hybrid approach to development & project management software
• Skills in SQL and PL/SQL will be an added advantage.
