Job Description

• We are looking to hire a Maintenance Manager for our client. Your core responsibilities are to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the hotel’s facilities.
• You will be charged to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget. A good maintenance manager will have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts.
• They will be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have an aptitude for undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure all department workers adhere to the health and safety policies and procedures
• Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
• Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a maintenance manager
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years work experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Experience in planning maintenance operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members.
• Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning and decision making.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
