We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Graduate Trainee

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The position is responsible for developing, maintaining and managing sales activities of the business within Lagos environs, as well as developing and implementing an innovative, growth-focused commercial strategy, focused primarily on new opportunities and markets.

Key Responsibilities for this Role

  • Assist in assessing the risks to the business of any new commercial opportunities.
  • Represents the company externally to enhance and strengthen the company’s profile and optimizes business development opportunities.
  • Maintains a good level of understanding and knowledge of the Company’s products and services, ensuring that customer queries can be captured and dealt with accurately and appropriately
  • Assist in ensuring that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets in line with business objectives.
  • Assist in achieving growth and sales targets of the sales team
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports to line manager
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts whilst carrying along the department in your findings
  • Assist to implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
  • Look-out for qualified leads and generate new business in line with the Company’s commercial target
  • Builds effective relationships with potential clients and existing customers
  • Speaks positively and enthusiastically about the Company and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues
  • Proactively assist in identifying prospect and future business development
  • Assist the team in carrying out marketing communications including branding, seminars and events collateral materials.
  • Can act as spokesperson for the company at industry events
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements for the Role

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or related discipline
  • Membership of professional management associations or certification will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of sales position.
