About the Job
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and approaches to define a compelling and feasible product vision for our platform strategy execution
Translate platform vision into a product roadmap that balances customer needs with internal resources
Conduct market research to determine market size, penetration and opportunities
Be a resident domain expert in one or more of product capabilities and functions / features
Evangelize and train sales, marketing, operations and services delivery teams on the product capabilities
Communicate progress against roadmap, product performance across the cross-functional team as well as throughout the organization and growth opportunities
Partner with Group Shared Technology and Business Development teams to build and launch world-class products
Refine product vision based on feedback from end users, support teams, and other internal and external stakeholders
Track product effectiveness and continually work toward a tangible and sustained value proposition
Ensure market messaging is consistent with product functionality and highlights distinctive value proposition(s)
Build, manage and launching various APIs, including API-based products and services
Responsible for the developer experience and overall responsibility for creating and maintaining API Tooling, Developer Portal, and documentation for our users
Apply product management, industry, and market expertise to brainstorm and create additional usecases for the API Define and own a prioritized Product Roadmap for the API Platform, based on user-insights, managing stakeholder expectations throughout.
Work with marketing team to develop a marketing plan for the APIs
Problem-solving skills to quickly rectify any issues with the APIs.
Take lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Work closely with the Product Manager to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
Carry out competitor and market analysis
Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends Periodic Duties
Provide technical pre-sales support to the sales team
Monitor, track and report financial performance of products within your portfolio Special Tasks (Tasks performed by virtue of job position e.g committee work, meetings)
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) consultant for internal and external customers
Represent Interswitch at presentations relating products under purview
