Job Title: IT Systems Auditor

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Systems Auditor is responsible for ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of a comprehensive internal audit system in relation to OPay’s IT Systems and ISO certifications while providing support and recommendations on various operational matters and projects.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular internal audits for OPay’s IMS (ISO 20000, 22301 and 27001) and general IT Systems Audit.
• Monitoring the audit cycle programme to ensure it remains effective and up to date Acting as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement of the requirements of these three certifications
• Producing and submitting a full audit quarterly report on each audit undertaken Ensuring any non-conformities are listed on the appropriate non-conformities log and corrective actions are assigned to the appropriate party
• Ensuring all follow-up actions are listed on the appropriate Action plan, and ‘Work In Progress’ comments are provided after an appropriate interval for each action until completion
• Conduct follow up audits / checks to monitor non-conformities and ensure other actions are completed
• Engaging with continuous knowledge development regarding each certification’s requirements, recommended best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
• Recommending appropriate changes because of the audit results to OPay’s internal Management Systems for IT Service Management, Business Continuity, and Information Security, where necessary
• Taking minutes and producing a report for the annual management review meetings for OPay’s ISO certifications
• Liaising with the ITSM, BCMS and ISMS Managers in ensuring audit gaps are closed promptly

Person Specification / Experience and Attributes Required

• A Degree in Computer Science or Risk Management.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a an IT systems auditor.
• Experience of conducting internal audits for ISO standards
• Certifications in at least 2 of ISO 20000, 22301 and 27001 Lead Auditor preferable CISA certification may be of advantage
