SKLD is an integrated corporate entity providing technology, educational and office supplies, branded product distribution, garment manufacturing and humanitarian aid procurement services through contracts, wholesale, retail, and online channels.
This job is responsible for managing the company’s E-commerce operations to maximize commercial performance while offering a seamless online customer experience at all stages of the customer journey.
The E-commerce Manager will develop and implement strategies for the design and management of the company’s online platform(s) and other marketplaces in order to meet sales revenue goals.
Job Responsibilities
Supports the design of overall business and e-commerce business strategies.
Leads the development and execution of e-commerce strategies to meet the business growth and revenue targets.
Creates frameworks, conceptualizes digital marketing strategies, and implements them so that online platforms are profitable.
Plans & monitors marketing campaigns, analyses data sets, and measures results.
Develops strategies to make recommendations for best investment tactics for each department.
Provides support for strategy development and sales performances.
Identifies areas of under performance and develops strategies to improve.
Develops and implements strategies toward improved sales across online platforms and marketplaces
Collaborates with Store Managers and other stakeholders to develop initiatives for attracting and retaining customers.
Brings in new accounts and expands existing ones to fulfill the company's revenue targets.
Implements and utilizes analytics to track sales trends and identify opportunities for growth
Research / develops new online marketing strategies and keep abreast of new developments in the e-commerce industry.
Maximizes search engine traffic and measures/monitors results from the company’s targeted advertisement purchases.
Oversees online merchandising, driving cross-/up-sell to increase Unit Per Transaction (UPT) and Average Order Value (AOV)
Pioneers and creates new opportunities by identifying new marketplace and other marketing opportunities to generate sales.
Oversees web portal design and functionality with a view to maximizing performance and ease of navigation for customers. Monitors and measures site performance and make a recommendation to improve performance.
Adopts Google Analytics to understand the company’s customers and the journey that they are taking
Analyzes traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
Directs the activities of software developers, copywriters, and graphic designers to ensure careful adherence to predetermined strategies.
Measures online conversion and identifies tactics internally and with third parties to improve conversion rates.
Monitors competitor and web sales trends to ensure web offer and experience is in line with customer aspirations
Continuously devises strategies and techniques for creating an effortless omnichannel user experience
Drives a timely and thoughtful customer complaints process
Adopts and maintains an online customer engagement and feedback system that is effortless and delightful
Requirements
Minimum of a Higher National Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Operations, Marketing Management, Information Systems, or any related field.
3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
Certified Ecommerce Management Professional (CPD Accredited) or a similar e-commerce certification is an added advantage
Diploma in Digital Marketing
An MBA or Master’s degree in any business-related discipline is an added advantage.
Highly skilled in Content Management and digital marketing
In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Ads campaigns, Digital marketing strategies, E-commerce frameworks, Website Design, online retailing, inventory, and stock management.
Salary and Benefits
N250,000 monthly.
