Job Summary

• The Project Engineer will act as day-to-day manager on company construction projects (on and off-sites), which may include liaising with third-party stakeholders and managing site facilities.
• S/he will be responsible for ensuring successful completion of all company project through the organization & supervision of human & material resources on site. Our ideal candidate should have a proven experience managing project from start to completion.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
• Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans
• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
• Checking designs, quantities and drawings to ensure accuracy
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on projects.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best values.
• Authorizing technical details and engineering plans.
• Drawing up work schedules, POW and communicating any adjustments to team members and management.
• Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
• Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.
• Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
• Any other projects as may be assigned.

Key Requirements

• B.Sc / MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 5 - 7 years of experience working in a construction company.
• Must be a COREN certified Engineer or a registered member of an Engineering Institute/Association
• Must be smart, intelligent and well-mannered
• Proficiency in design and project management
• Technical understanding
• Determined work ethic and must be seen to be professional at all times (communication and presentation)
• Must be computer literate with sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Project.

Remuneration
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
