Ropay is a Payroll Management software for SME's and Freelancers in Africa. At Ropay, we are building technologies that will shape how payroll and payment will be made? How are we building this? We are making use of AWS Cloud solutions to build out our technology stack. From Elastic Beanstalk to AWS serverless applications, we make use of them to build our technology.

Job Description

• We are looking for someone to work on our development team who can work closely with the tech lead to build and manage a stable technology infrastructure for the company.
• This role is ideal for someone who uses programming code to create interactive programs that enhance a customer's experience with a brand and facilitate an enjoyable experience on the business website or platform.
• Our ideal candidate is an individual who likes to build software with good results with in-depth experience, delivery, and excellence.
• As a front developer, you will be required to build out scalable solutions, and maintain our current source code and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting analysis of website and application requirements.
• Writing front-end code and building efficient PHP code and React JS.
• Developing front-end portals with an optimized database.
• Troubleshooting application and code issues.
• Responding to integration requests from back-end developers.
• Finalizing front-end features and testing web applications.
• Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.
• Conduct testing of completed applications, websites, and software to Assess user experience
• Create surveys for research through various social media platforms to gather feedback on users' ease of use and incorporate the findings in the development
• Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to clients and management
• Seek to enhance the user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital programs and interfaces within the company
• Use coding to develop the aesthetics implemented within a website or product, from the layout menu and drop-down options to colors and fonts
• Combine interface design concepts with digital design and establish milestones to encourage cooperation and teamwork
• Develop overall concepts for improving the user experience within a business webpage or product ensuring all interactions are intuitive and convenient for customers

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• 2 - 4 years work experience.
• Understanding of PHP and React programming Language.
• Knowledge of PHP web frameworks including, Laravel, fat-free framework, and CodeIgniter.
• Knowledge of React frameworks including, Material UI, React-Redux, React Router, React Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.
• Previous experience creating scalable applications.
• Ability to build and deploy CI/CD pipeline.
• Knowledge and understanding of AWS Cloudwatch, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, EC2, and SNS is a plus but not required.
• Understanding of Cloudformation Scripting/YAML is a plus but not required

Salary
N180,000 - N300,000 / month.
