We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• The Account Officer would contribute to the organization’s success by completion of payments and control of expenses through receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.

Responsibilities

• Keeping track of all expenditures and bills
• Posting of vendors invoices and payments transactions on the accounting system
• Maintaining and reconciling payable ledger on the accounting system
• Reconciling and posting of petty cash expenditures
• Posting of monthly expenses journals
• Obtaining and safe keeping source documents
• Agreeing vendors balances
• General ledger management
• Managing Statutory remittances
• Monthly financial report
• Any other assigned duties

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3 years working experience
• Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel
• Sound knowledge of accounting applications such as Xero, Quickbooks etc
• Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
• Knowledge and experience of the application of IFRS

• Good analytical and evaluating skills
• Strong communication skills.
• Unquestioned personal integrity with strong ethics and values.
