Job Title: Senior Human Resource Manager
Location: Abuja

Job Purpose
To give effective and professional administrative and human resource support to the organization, ensuring smooth operation of human resource administrative duties at the Head office and other regional offices nationwide.
Duties and Responsibilites
Develop an organization-wide talent management plan in line with the organization's business strategy and create strategic solutions for improving skills across an entire company in collaboration with Group HR
Maintain a qualified workforce and a configured succession planning program to eliminate undue talent gap; maintain a safe and secured work environment; develop personal growth opportunities.
Participates in the Learning & Development Plan Process, structuring of Employee Professional Development Plans, and implementation of same in collaboration with Group HR and Top Management.
Coordinate performance appraisal management process by coordinating the process in the regions and producing monthly, quarterly & yearly average appraisal performance reports
Ensure that staff adheres to company rules and regulations.
Ensure Human Capital documentation, welfare, and alignment with the Nigerian Labour laws.
Responsible for new employee orientation, training, and the entire onboarding process and ensuring proper reference and background checks.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings
Responsible for dissemination of HR-related information as instructed by Management.
Coordinate the printing and distribution of staff ID cards nationwide.
Coordinate and oversee the administration of staff welfare
Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Manage and provide employee historical references by developing and utilizing good filing and retrieval systems.
Manage and monitor staff attendance ensuring an accurate record of staff resumption to work and exit.
Responsible for monthly salary advice for staff to the accounts department
Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy of sensitive documents within the department.
Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims.
Effectively update and maintain staff database across the organization ensuring that staff data is constantly updated and kept confidentially.
Responsible for completion and accuracy of all personnel files, conducting audits as needed or directed and monitoring insurance coverage, and ensuring that personnel policies are up-to-date.
Handle employee requests regarding HR issues, policies, and regulations, branch wide and across the organization.
Keep track of all employee annual leave requests and information, maternity leave, compassionate leave, etc. for proper staff accountability.
Participate in developing and establishing departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
Assists in developing reports, forms, and templates that aid HR administration.
Maintain employee handbook, policies, and procedures manual as well as collaborating with various departments/unit across the organization, to administer and communicate various HR policies, procedures and regulations.
Monitor trends and research on HR systems in other organizations, especially within the same sector for benchmarking purposes.
Assist with the administration of the compensation and benefits system.
Assist the Top Management with projects and duties as assigned.
Job Specification
HND / B.Sc Degree
At least 3 years experience in an HR role.
Excellent organization and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PPT, Word)
Individuals who are agile learner and committed to self-development
Good attention to detail; analytical and quick thinking skills
Ability to manage team and relationships
Ability to produce information in an analytical format
Individuals with problem-solving ability
Knowledge of ISO 45001, 9001 would be an added advantage
IT Savvy
Certification in Human Resource Management or any internationally recognized Human Capital Management certification.
Professional Human Resource Management (PHRM) certification. SHRM or its equivalent or advanced certification is an added advantage.
CIPM is an added advantage.
