We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Backend Supervisor

Locations: Port Harcourt - Rivers, Ilorin - Kwara and Benin - Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise the daily activities of delivery representatives to ensure maximum productivity.
• Provide first-line support for drivers on the field.
• Guide and assist drivers to ensure all reported issues are resolved promptly.
• Ensure all delivery trips are monitored from start to finish.
• Ensure that every other activity required for the smooth.

Success Metrics:

• Monitor to resolution point at least 98% of all reported issues.
• Zero tolerance for errors and irregularities in delivery operations.
• Number of ideas suggested and implemented
• New learning/knowledge acquired/imparted
• Process Improvement initiatives
• Identification of business risks affecting the supply chain.
• Monitoring and enforcing conformity with all established delivery procedures and processes.
• Zero tolerance for lingering unresolved issues which impedes delivery operations longer than the allowable limit.

Job Requirements

• A University Degree or its equivalent in a relevant field.
• At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Quick decision making skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn and ‘own’ new technology and concepts
• Knowledge of logistics operations
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy with a strong analytical capability
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
