Elite Star Foundation is a child-centered non-profit organization established in 2021 in Nigeria to promote and protect the rights and well-being of every child in the society.

The Elite Star Foundation is working towards creating a safe and happy childhood for every Nigerian child, a childhood free from all forms of abuse and neglect. We are working hard to realize our vision of a world where every child can grow up safe, happy, and able to achieve their dreams. We aim to play a significant role in giving children all over Nigeria a voice while upholding the highest standard of child protection through advocacy, awareness, education and response support service. We are here to defend the children whose rights are violated, we protect the most vulnerable children and we make the rights of the child accessible. Job Description

• The Social Media volunteer will help Elite Star Foundation be more visible and spread our message.
• The Social Media Volunteer will develop and implement a social media strategy to increase overall reach and brand awareness.
• Elite Star Foundation is a child-centred non-profit organization established in 2021 in Nigeria to promote and protect the rights and well-being of every child in the society.
• The Elite Star Foundation is working towards creating a safe and happy childhood for every Nigerian child, a childhood free from all forms of abuse and neglect.

Responsibilities

• Post regular updates to Elite Star Foundation social media outlets, including news articles, blog posts, press releases, fundraising appeals, events, partner events, special donors/donations, and any other promotional items
• Monitor activity and user interactions for all social media outlets businesses and organizations for requests for fundraising/sponsorships
• Adapt general campaign messaging for the different outlet-specific audiences
• Maintain a respectful relationship with clients, staff, and other volunteers
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
• Experience using key social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube)
• Strong writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to use online tools to engage members, donors, and corporate partners
• Outgoing, enthusiastic and creative
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Attention to detail
• Desire to support the Elite Star Foundation mission.
