Kids R Key Academy is a fast-growing private educational institution working on the total development of children by providing early child education in a safe and secured environment. We require the services of qualified, highly motivated, experienced and focused individuals for urgent engagement. We are located in Kasarana and Kubwa, Abuja.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Karasana (Gwarinpa Extension), Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Driving children and staff daily to their desired destinations
• Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean
• Using navigation apps to determine the best route.

Responsibilities

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Pick up kids from their homes and drive them home after school
• Obey all traffic rules and regulation
• Maintain speed limit set by the institution
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic needed
• Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
• Assist in other jobs as will be directed by supervisor.

Requirements

• SSCE qualification
• 1 - 3 years of work experience.
• Basic English communication ability
• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid driver’s license
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour).
