We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mini Van Driver

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Sstrict Adherance to traffic Rules and regulations.
• Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• You will be held liable for any tickets issued by any Traffic / vehicle regulatory body issued to you while driving.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
• Providing accurate time logs of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management through the GM / operations Installations & maintenance.
• Promptly report any fault detected in the vehicle to the Manager Operations
• Carry daily routine checks on the company vehicle to ensure before the start of a work day, it is in an excellent working condition and it has the necessary items needed in a car by Federal Road Safety Corps.
• Dress professionally and in accordance with company’s dress code.
• Perform some other undertakings like shopping, dropping and picking clothing, getting lunch, and running errands
• Ensure your overall health is not compromised that can impede your performance while driving any company vehicle.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess an SSCE qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license at least 1 year prior to expiration.

Skills:

• Ability to drive a mini-van
• ability to drive a manual gear and automatic gear
• defensive driving
• Alertness while driving
• A good mechanical skill on cars/vans
• An excellent knowledge on road route within and the neighbouring states of Abuja.

Salary
N600,000 / Annum
