Owens and Xley Consults is a Lagos based company that offers business advisory and consulting services to help Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource / Admin Assistant

Location: Mushin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Prepare schedule and materials for new staff Induction and briefing
  • Collate all training requirements and forward to the human resource manager for staff training and development
  • Work with human resource manager in issuing of loans to eligible staff
  • Prepare and issue disciplinary memos to staff with approval from the human resource manager
  • Responsible for issuing & renewal of staff Id cards
  • Assist the human resource manager in processing staff leave applications for eligible staff
  • Work with the human resource manager in scheduling of staff shift roster
  • Assist the human resource officer in recruiting new staff
  • Work with human resource manager in conducting exit interviews for staff
  • Assist the human resource manager in conducting staff appraisals
  • Collate all timesheets and prepare staff payroll
  • Assist the human resource officer in scheduling staff holiday breaks
  • Assist the human resource officer in issuing of staff uniforms
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • HND / BSc in Human Resource Management / Business Administration
  • Educational Qualification B.Sc in any related discipline
  • Experience 2+ years experience in Admin and HR functions
  • Membership of CIPM a plus Skills and Abilities
  • Highly organized and focused
  • High level of professionalism
  • Result-oriented team player with exceptional motivation and interpersonal skills.
  • A natural leader with a strong ability to influence others
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Must be able to prepare management reports and correspondence
  • Good initiative, time and stress management skills.

Salary

  • N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
