We are looking for well-tested UI/UX designers who know their onions and are ready to craft sleek user interfaces.

Job Title: UI/UX Designer

Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Job Summary

• Pearlsoft is seeking a UI/UX Designer to lead the look and experience of our web and mobile platforms.
• This role will be in tight coordination with Product Development executives and engineers and will be responsible for providing mock-ups, wireframes, and functional prototypes to stakeholders and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Based on user requirements provided by product managers and engineers, design user-friendly interfaces of mobile and web applications for smartphones and tablets. Illustrate design ideas through sketches, user flows, or information architecture of the software applications.
• Conduct and analyse user research and usability tests to observe user behaviours while using the products.
• Identify user experience problems through usability tests and develop improvement solutions for the next revision.
• Convert UI artefacts into working code for these platforms (React, Android & iOS)
• Closely collaborate with designers, product managers, and the software development team.
• Create and communicate design specifications documents. (e.g. red lines, design requirement document, style guides, etc.)
• Create content and manage digital marketing engagement

Job Requirement

• BSc Degree in Fine Art / Science, focusing on human-centered design, HCI, interaction Design, or other related fields. If no professional Degree, in lieu of at least 3-year work experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
• Strong portfolio with contents including UI/UX design projects or showcases.
• Proficient up-to-date skills in using Figma. Ability to set up auto-layout, constrains, and variants to create wireframes and prototypes.
• Proficient skills in design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, photoshop.
• Strong skills in user experience methodologies to conduct and analyze usability tests.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate and demonstrate work with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and passion for design tasks.
