Senior Product Designer at FairMoney Nigeria

FairMoney is building the leading mobile bank for emerging markets. We started with a digital microcredit application on Android, and currently roll out additional financial services (current account, savings, debit card) while expanding the product to Western Africa and South-East Asia.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Product Designer

Job Description

• Work with product briefs and be able to present the ideas/solution to the team/company stakeholders
• Define end-to-end wireframe for features and products using standard wireframing tools
• Effectively deliver features and improvements in a well define scope
• Manage or lead project/features and deliver results based on the timeline
• Work with multiple product researchers and/or product managers to build or improve the user experience
• Work independently and efficiently on multiple projects of different size and scope while taking a long-term view of how it fits FairMoney's vision
• Conduct and facilitate ideation sessions, design validation, and usability testing to ensure the highest product quality standards

Requirements

• You should have 3 years or more experience working as a product designer
• You are obsessed with user experience, understand what matters for the user and work towards delivering the same
• You have a strong expertise working as a product designer along with other functional competencies like information architecture, layout, visual hierarchy, journey models and more
• Experience working with product management, engineering and research and can drive ideas to production
• Understanding of how to leverage data (qualitative and quantitative) and can influence product management and engineering to improve the user experience
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment before and are not afraid to get your hands dirty when needed.
