The PR Fundamentals Internship Programme offers the opportunity to spend 6 months working and learning at C&F Porter Novelli, one of Nigeria’s leading Public Relations’ agencies.

The PR Fundamentals Internship Programme is a C&F Porter Novelli initiative to foster young Nigerian talent and drive the Nigerian Public Relations industry into a new generation. In doing so, the Programme strives to be an industry guarantor of excellence in training entry-level employees.
About the Programme
The PR Fundamentals Internship Programme aims to foster a pool of talented and innovative individuals who can be identified and engaged by the Public Relations industry.
Throughout the 6-month programme PR-Fundamental Interns participate in a mixed environment of classroom and apprenticeship learning. This approach ensures that interns are optimally prepared as PR professionals both theoretically and practically.
Classroom Learning:
Classes are held every day for the first week of the Program and weekly thereafter during the course of the regular workday. Classes feature lectures by staff experts and discussions emphasizing the fundamental skills of public relations.
Apprenticeship Learning:
PR-F Interns will spend the majority of their tenure apprenticing as an integral member of an Accounts Team and gaining exposure to every facet of the Public Relations business
Through this experience PR-F Interns will be educated on the fundamental skills of public relations: e.g. writing, media monitoring, media relations, electronic media, special event planning, new business presentation and more.
Those who display an aptitude and interest for thought leadership may also be posted to the Research and Planning Department which focuses on developing PR insights, innovation and quality assurance for C&F Porter Novelli clients and the agency as a whole.
Programme Timeline:
The PR-F Internship Programme runs once a year over a 6-month period, this years programme will commence in June 2022. Both the classroom and apprenticeship portions are hosted at C&F Porter Novelli’s Lagos office in Ikeja GRA.
Who is Eligible?
The PR Fundamentals Internship Program seeks fresh graduates with little or no prior experience in Public Relations.
Applicants must have graduated from the University before applying.
Candidates also must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Programme.
Remuneration
PR-F Interns will be paid a salary during their tenure in the Programme.
