We are looking to hire a People and Culture Associate to work with our Chief of Staff in building out a great people and culture team in our Nigerian office.
In this role you will support our Chief of Staff and the entire People Experience and Culture team with various tasks relating to people operations.
You will take full ownership of the onboarding process, welcoming people to into the Moni Community, making them feel included from the moment they start as an employee at Moni - whether they're in Lagos, Nigeria, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia or San Francisco, California - you will be the first point of call for all new hires.
You will be a natural relationship builder, working closely with stakeholders across the business on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from career development through to engagement and wellbeing.
A core part of your role will require you to develop systems to track people performance across the organisation.
We're looking for someone who will take a proactive approach to reporting and analytics, identifying trends and making recommendations on how we can improve both on the job and in our culture.
To be successful you will have experience of working in a similar role and are looking for a role within a fast paced and growing organization.
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks, get involved in projects and influence process improvements while further developing your skills and knowledge.

What you will do
Onboard new hires, and ensure they have everything they need to get started from Day 1
Source and recruit the top 1% of talent locally and internationally across the Business
Develop performance tracking indicators to help people perform better
Ensure compliance by staff to people processes across the company
Plan team bonding sessions to help our remote team know each other better
Work with key stakeholders to continually improve our onboarding and enablement processes
Help coordinate activities to enhance the culture at Moni
Create documentation and processes that clearly communicates our culture and how we get work done
Manage learning and development tasks such as training requests & collating career development information
Stay up to date with people policies across the countries our business is in
Be in everyone's business; to make sure they have everything they need to succeed.
Requirements
3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role
Demonstrate ability to manage tasks and make process improvements
Ability to prioritize and be highly organized
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Confident communication skills
Hungry to develop skills and knowledge within HR & People Operations
A strong desire to build and develop a culture that people will love
