Ascentech Services Limited - Our client in the Agricultural Sector who major in rice production, feed mill, and poultry, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Manager

Location: Calabar, Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications

• First Degree in Business Administration or related field
• Ideal candidates reside in Calabar or its environ
• MBA/MSC is required
• Any other academic or professional qualification in agriculture or related field will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 8 years of plant management experience in a feedmill, fertilizer blending or rice milling production
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources)
• Familiarity with industry -standards and technical expertise
• Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making, and, people management skills
• Strong management skills, with the ability to take charge
• Must be a hands-on plant manager
• Analytical knowledge, structured problem-solving skills and ,expertise in management systems
• Proven leadership, communication, and teamwork skills with demonstrated abilities to both work collaboratively
• Strategically contribute to the system development to minimize product failure or reprocess to reduce the cost of poor quality and improve customer satisfaction
• Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of working efficiently with a team.
