S & L Consulting - Our client is Africa's leading energy solutions provider with expertise in proffering solutions to complex problems in the energy sector.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lead - Technical Sales and Marketing

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
  • Describe features, technical specifications, and uses of Renewable Energy products or services to customers.
  • Provide support in renewable energy solution design and lead the development of project scopes, bills of materials, technical diagrams, and other supporting materials to ensure successful proposal submissions that lead to quality projects.
  • Handle sales of Renewable Energy Products & Services to prospects.
  • Conduct site visits to support site evaluation, suitability, and due diligence efforts while proffering solutions to clients.
  • Provide Pre-Sales & After-Sales support to customers who require additional help.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications required are; B.Eng. in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or its equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, 3 years in the Solar power sector will be sufficient.
  • Must be experienced in Sales of Solar Power Solutions, Contract, Project and Account Management of Power Systems, Solar PV Systems, UPS, LV/HV Electrical Panels.
  • Knowledge of UPS Systems, Hybrid Solar, Electrical and Storage solutions will be of advantage
  • Previous experience in similar position is an advantage but not a benchmark
  • Knowledge In solar system design and integration
  • Good knowledge of the computer and the applications relevant to the position; like MS Office, AutoCAD and all other engineering software will be an advantage.
  • Ability to develop and make presentations for existing and prospective customers, in a professional manner
  • Must possess excellent management, as well as organizational skills
  • Possess the ability to cope with stress and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Must possess Marketing skills, effective communication and writing skills
  • Must have the ability to recognize opportunities and manage budgets effectively
  • Creativity: must be able to develop fresh ideas and strategies
  • Effective people skills: He/she must have the ability to handle people no matter how difficult they might seem
  • Ability to multi-task: He/she must be able to complete several tasks together and meet up with deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and still be effective
  • Ability to negotiate and dialogue with clients/customers
  • Ability to engage in new product/service research for the company
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to be self-motivated
  • Possession of an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Knowledge of products offered by the company and its applications will be an advantage.
