We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: District Equipment Control Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Liaise with 3rd party agency on Own Vessel Berthing / operations and external vendors
• Liaise with agency on payments, vessel command, vessel arrivals, delays, anchorage, etc.
• System updates for Out of Sequence (OOS) containers and EDI errors
• Monitor the utilization of free pool in various ports
• Crew and vessel management
• Bookings/EDI/Final load list/Information’s etc. emails to relevant parties
• Monitor the discharge and load progress related cargo operation
• Africa Trans-shipment Planning & Follow-up
• Reporting of empty container returns, stock in terminals and damaged containers
• Verification of agency reports received from ICD/docks/logistics team.
• East Africa empty container sales monitoring in liaison with Finance and Head Office.
• Preparing of stowman (cxml file) for Central Planning Purpose.
• Agency Vessel planning and coordination.

Requirements

• Tertiary Education qualification / Bachelor's Degree in Maritime, Shipping, or related disciplines.
• 0-2 years prior experience.
• Strong relationship management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
