Job Objectives
Responsible for managing OrganisationDesign and Development across the Group and it’s operating companies
Responsible for supporting the Group & Operating businesses in setting their strategic direction to drive growth and expansion as well monitor the Group’s performance against set objectives.
Responsible for project management across the Group
Principal Duties / Responsibilities
Organization Design:
Lead all organizational design and development activities, ensuring adequate structures, capabilities, skills and manning areinplace to support organisationalstrategy, objectives and goals
Serve as a strategic advisor, functional expert and thought partner to management, regarding key talent strategies and issues, including recruitment, succession planning, leadership development, and employee retention.
Oversee the development of a Group wide HR strategy and leadership focused on the strategic facets of human resource management activities including Recruitment, Talent and Performance Management
Define a distinctive organisationculture, values and employer brand, and facilitate its implementation across the organization
Drive the development of a robust performance management framework and oversee the effective implementation of same across the organization
Oversee full-cycle executive sourcing activities (including sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, negotiating and extending offers) for C-suite level executives
Strategic Planning and Corporate Performance Management:
Lead the annual strategic planning process to ensure that it is timely, focused, and value adding
Translate key strategic priorities into actionable and quantitative plans for the organization and its Operating businesses
Champion the distilling of insights from research and analysis (competitor analysis, operational performance, market/industryinnovation, etc.) to drive the development of key strategies to support the achievement of overall business objectives
Develop robust forecasting and planning tools and models to be utilized for business operations and projections and obtain management’s buy-in
Design tools and platforms for coordinating and monitoring the measurement of milestones
Market and Business Viability Analysis:
Assist the evaluation of new business opportunities, projects, operational and growth plans
Oversee the identification of new business initiatives across the Group and the management and development of same until theybecome fully operational
Coordinate the preparation of presentations and analyses to support Executive Management in making key business decisions
Project Management:
Drive the development and institutionalization of project management frameworks and practices across the Group
Maintain overall responsibility and accountability for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of projects
Other Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as required by the EVC and the Board
Job Requirements
Education:
First Degree.
A postgraduate qualification or an MBA would be an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years experience in Management Consulting.
Knowledge, Skills and Competency Requirements:
In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of talent and career management.
Knowledge and understanding of human resources concepts ( learning and development, performance management, career management, succession planning etc).
Ability to think strategically, and drive for results.
Strong global, cultural and business awareness.
