We are creating partnerships with cassava farmers in the regional area to supply freshly harvested cassava to our chipping and drying facility in Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State. After processing and bagging, cassava will typically be sold to ethanol plants in southwest Nigeria. Job Title: Dryer Operator

Location: Ilara-Mokin, Ondo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking to hire an Experienced Dryer Operator who can operate the drying machine and can detect when there are faults.

Responsibilities

• Keep the dryer clean after every shift.
• Operate the drying machine.
• Notify the Shift Supervisor of any anomalies with the dryer for prompt repairs.
• Complete production log sheets.
• Operate the dryer by the manual and set rules.
• Keep the dryer surrounding clean after your operation.
• Observed all safety guidelines about operating the machine.
• Ensure prompt and proper feeding of the dryer and evacuation of the dryer.
• Overseeing and ensuring that dryer temperature is properly regulated.
• Put chipped cassava into the dryer, oversee the revolution process and timing of the dryer, and ensure that chips are evenly dried and evacuated promptly.
• And any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Electronics Engineering.
• Previous Dryer operating experience preferably in a cassava processing company.
• Can operate the Drying machine to full capacity without supervision.
• Can detect faults when they arise.
• Reside in Ilara -Mokin and its environs (Candidates willing to relocate will be considered).
