Web Developer at the EE Hub

The EE Hub is a Company that operates a financial services arm, a supermarket and other related arms of businesses.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Web Developer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Website design, development and maintenance.
• Designing website layouts and user interfaces using basic HTML/CSS techniques
• Maintenance of technical features on the company’s web platforms, such as its performance, speed and capacity.
• Directing or conducting website upgrades; doing periodic site audits and conducting ongoing maintenance as appropriate.
• Bringing data from diverse back-end services and databases together. Running tests to confirm that the right code strings were utilised.
• Maintaining communication with TomX Management about the proposed direction of the Company per time.
• Collaborating with different business units to resolve issues, prioritise requirements, define content creation criteria, or select solutions.
• Creating or verifying test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases replicate external interfaces and requirements.
• Maintaining a backup of files from websites to local folders for recovery purposes.
• Identifying and resolving problems discovered through consumer feedback and testing, as well as directing problems to relevant employees for remedy.
• Testing codes to ensure that it complies with industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, any related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3 - 6 years work experience.
• Extensive knowledge and expertise with programming programmes.
• Expertise in React Native, Django, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• A thorough grasp of web application functionality, including security, session management and best development practices.
• Thorough understanding of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and web application development.
• Basic understanding of the Search Engine Optimization method.
• Problem-solving abilities that are aggressive and innovative.
• Strong organisational abilities with the ability to manage various activities while adhering to deadlines and budgets, as well as business knowledge.
• The ability to work and flourish in a fast-paced atmosphere, learn quickly, and master a wide range of web technologies and approaches.

Salary
N120,000 - N135,000 monthly.
