Head, Web Developer at the EE Hub

The EE Hub is a Company that operates a financial services arm, a supermarket and other related arms of businesses.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Web Developer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• He shall lead the design, development, modification, and integration of web applications inside the company's web content management system, as well as chosen web portal apps and other systems to meet the company's online needs
• Oversees the department's daily operations and provides constructive and timely performance assessments.
• He shall be in charge of planning and managing activities and projects that support the university's web services, with a focus on public-facing web services such as web content management, digital marketing, web analytics, video encoding and streaming, blogs, search appliance, and selected portal-based services.
• Shall offer leadership and guidance in the planning, development, and maintenance of the TomX web environment.
• Supervises a team of web developers and analysts while also coordinating operations with other technical and functional resources such as network administrators, program managers, systems analysts, Net programmers, web publishers and designers.
• Facilitates the creation of strategic and tactical strategies to aid in the efficiency and coordination of online service delivery.
• Organization, development, and implementation of project plans for the delivery of these services.
• Engage with members of their team and collaborate with the Marketing team to determine the type of information that should be included on the website.
• Ensures that the work product created is maintainable, customizable, and well-documented.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, any related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5 years plus experience in related discipline
• Extensive knowledge and expertise with programming programmes.
• Expertise in JavaScript, Django, React Native, HTML, PHP and CSS.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• A thorough grasp of web application functionality, including security, session management and best development practices.
• Basic understanding of the Search Engine Optimization method.

Salary
N150,000 - N170,000 monthly.
